Spending On Tech Staff To Rise By 4.6% in 2021

Forrester released data stating that enterprise spending on tech staff would increase by 4.6% this year and 5.4% in the coming year as there is an ongoing talent demand.

In 2020, the pandemic led to lay off of IT staff, decreasing the tech staff spending by 3.6%
Since the operation model turned remote, there was a need for low code and no code technologies, which raised the demand for web developers and software engineers.
The WFH model also gave a spurring demand for security staff to manage the new exposure.
According to CompTIA's Cyberstates 2021 report, the software workforce is set to grow by 5% in 2021
The remote workspace has the flexibility to hire talent without any geographic boundaries helping tap on more talents.
